About the People

JC
An accomplished musician who specialises in both guitar, keyboards and backing vocals, JC is an active member of Melbourne's music scene, having been involved in many acts, both original and covers, that have provided entertainment to patrons in leading venues. In the last 6 years, JC has brought together leading performers into the band CopyCat, and in this time, he has established one of the most requested and respected function bands available. The consummate professional who ensures that all musical aspects are met with minimum fuss, and that an enjoyable time is had by all.

Florelie
One of the country's most promising R&B singers, Florelie joined CopyCat in 2002, and has built a reputation of being both sultry and captivating in her performances. With great harmonies and vocal range, Florelie has added an extra dimension to this established act. As well as performances with CopyCat, Florelie also headlines various nightclub performance both in Melbourne (The Next Blue & Metro) and Sydney (Hunter Bar) with her original R&B compositions. Florelie was also invited and performed in San Francisco in 2002. Our very own Diva!

Simon
Simon has gained a reputation as being a versatile entertainer who can bring any function alive with strong vocals and interaction with the audience. From Jazz and R&B to a great Rock song or Disco classic, Simon performs each song to its optimum with outstanding results and provides the 'wow' factor for any function. Even an Italian number is no challenge for this professional singer who enjoys every aspect of performing but is driven to ensure that any guest or patron leaves a night asking for more. Prior to joining CopyCat, Simon appeared in various theatre and TV shows while performing in smaller restaurants around Melbourne. Since joining CopyCat five years ago, he now works exclusively for this band, and with JC, will also often perform duo gigs at leading venues throughout the year.
